We guarantee our puppies to be in good health to the best of our knowledge. All puppies will have a vet exam prior to delivery. All shots are up to date and puppies will be free from obvious defects at the time of delivery. Puppies may be severely stressed by the change in their environment. Minor problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, wormy stool, etc., may occur and must be treated. These conditions are the responsibility of you, the buyer, and should be checked by a veterinarian. Minor health problems that can be cured by medication or surgery are not covered by any guarantee.
Buyer’s Responsibilities
You must have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 96 hours of delivery.We must be informed immediately of the examination’s result by e-mail or by fax. Failure to complete this crucial step will terminate the health guarantee on your puppy. This guarantee will then be null and void.
Be sure to provide your puppy with routine preventive care, such as, but not limited to:
Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian.
Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and deworming.
Health Guarantee
Your puppy will have its first vaccinations and will have been wormed.
If your puppy comes down with a life threatening disease we must be contacted immediately and we are not responsible for any vet bills you may acquire.
Your puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against fatal and life altering congenital diseases which adversely affect the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia, Knee dysplasia which hampers a dog’s movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct THIS WILL ONLY BE COVERED IF THE PUPPY IS DEMMED A STAGE 3 OR MORE; kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within this one year time frame, you must pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason of death. If reason is congenital, we will refund the puppy.
A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be refunded as follows: Animal must show the defect by one year of age. We must be notified of the problem within two business days of the licensed veterinarian’s determination and have one report from an unassociated veterinarian stating the same problem. We will issue a refund.
A REFUND WILL BE ISSUED UPON RETURN OF THE PUPPY THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS PUPPY MUST BE RETURNED TO QUALIFY FOR A REFUND.
A puppy with a defect must be returned to us in good condition, other than the specified problem or euthanized with our permission at your expense to qualify for a refund.
We will not be held responsible for any medical expenses incurred. You, as the buyer, are fully aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understand that you will be responsible for all payments.
As of the date of delivery, your puppy has received proper vaccinations and has been dewormed on a strict schedule. You have been informed of the puppy’s vaccination and deworming schedule and are aware of future vaccinations and deworming that will be due. This guarantee does not cover coccidia and Kennel Cough, which are common in puppies that are shipped and is usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self-limiting and like the common cold, must run its course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough, on its own, is not life threatening.
There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, such as but not limited to:
allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, cancer, head tremors, hernias, siezures, tumors, cherry eye, dermoids, growths, scabies, mite related illness and other autoimmune disorders which are not covered by this guarantee.
Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee. There is no guarantee that you will be able to show or breed your puppy regardless of show or breeding potential.
